Clock Tower
Built in 1928, the Clock
Tower houses the clock and bell from the old Shaw School located
at the corner of Forest and Washington Streets. The Town received
a gift in 2005 which allows for the lighting of the Tower. A local
garden club, with some Town financial assistance, is currently in the process of beautifying the
Clock Tower park (Elm Park). An application is pending to put the Clock
Tower on the Registry of National Historic Buildings.
