It is with much sadness that I send along the news of the passing of Gary Hanlon.  I have included Gary's obituary for you to read.  Gary's wife's name is Chris and the family's address is:

Gary will be truly missed....as one classmate wrote: "his vitality, his wonderful sense of humor, his importance to our class....very, very sad...."

Gary Hanlon
Gary W. Hanlon of Framingham, formerly of Wellesley, died on March 5, 2009. He was 61. A graduate of Fairfield University, Class of 1969, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He was a retired national sales manager for Atlantic Luggage. He ran nine Boston marathons to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Husband of Christine N. (Norko) Hanlon, Mr. Hanlon is also survived by his children, Carolyn J. Fontana and her husband, Nicholas of Scotch Plain, N.J., Lt. John Edward Hanlon, U.S. Army, Afghanistan, and Kevin P. Hanlon of Framingham; his grandchildren, Abigail, Grace and Lucy; his brothers, Michael Hanlon of Plymouth and David Hanlon of Boston; his sister, Barbara Leddy of Washington, D.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
 
A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Bridget Church, Framingham, Wednesday, March 11. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Gary’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688. Arrangements were made by the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley.
