New Main Library

After a decade of planning, the old Main Library was torn down and rebuilt with private and public funds, opening in June 2003. The Library boasts an annual circulation of over 500,000 items a year, including books, CD's and tapes.  In 1959, many of our classmates participated in the physical moving of books from the then Main Library in the Town Hall to the new library across the street.  The 1959 library was torn down to make way for this $13 Million new library.  It is well worth a visit inside.
