Olin College of Engineering

olin.jpg

Olin College opened its doors to 75 students in 2002 to provide a hands-on, interdisciplinary approach that better reflects actual engineering practice. Now in its 4th year of operation, it provides free tuition to all students, and successfully competes for student who would otherwise attend MIT, Cal Tech, etc.  It is built on 75 acres purchased from Babson College and located in the Town of Needham.  It shares common administrative functions with Babson College.
Olin College is the first institution in Massachusetts since the opening of Brandeis University in 1948 to obtain the right from the Commonwealth to grant undergraduate degrees.
