Senior High School
WHS was home to 1200
students in 3 grades in 1965; now there are 1150 students
in 4 grades. Built in 1938 at a cost of $175,000, it had additions in the 50’s and then the 1962 and 1964 cafeteria and wing additions. A $1 Million fitness facility was added a while ago. It is scheduled for upgrading soon either through a 15 classroom addition or a gutting of the existing structure or a complete rebuilding. (est. cost $30 - $145 million).
