Town Hall
The magnificent Town
Hall (and library) and surrounding land were deeded
to the Town in 1887 as a gift from Horatio Hollis Hunnewell. In continuous operation since then as the hub of Town business, the library was moved across the street to a new facility in 1959 (which has since been torn down and replaced). The Town Hall is on the National Registry of Historic Places.
