Scholarship Judging Form

How to use this form: The point system outlined on this form is used to judge scholarship applicants for the NWTF National Scholarship.  It provides a fair numerical system for ranking applicants on each criterion and will help anticipate how your local winner will compare at the national level.  Have a small committee of 3 to 5 review and score each application.

4-5 pts. – Very Active

Award 5 points for 1 position held and 1 point for each additional position.

Grade Point Average

 

GPA Requirements

Award 5 points for 3.0 average on a 4.0 scale (or see conversion chart below for equivalent) and 1 point for every tenth over 3.0 (i.e. 3.1 = 6 pts.)

Conversion scale

If transcript indicates a scale other than 4.0 students must have a minimum of: 3.75 on a 5.0 scale, 4.5/6.0, 5.25,7.0, 6.0/8.0, 6.75/9.0 or 7.5/10
