Here are a few unpainted pumpkins! I used wet pine wood to carve these pumpkins, added a stem as a separate piece,
and used a wood burner to burn in the face and eyes. I typically vary the expressions on the faces so that no two are
exactly alike. I DO find that people tend to like and buy the pumpkins that have a devilish smile instead of a mean,
demonic look!

This looks like the Pennsylvania Dutch Class of 2006 photo! I carved several phantoms (ghosts) just prior to Halloween.
Like the pumpkins, I carved the phantoms out of pine wood and strived to vary the facial expressions on the phantoms.
No two are exactly alike! I also included a finished pumpkin as part of the group photo to offset all of the white!
