• Communications: Continuing to check-off individuals eligible to use HFD radio.

  Training: East County CERTs are developing a three-tiered classification system of training recognition. This data will be incorporated into a new badge for CERT members.

   

  NEW BUSINESS:

• The 2008 HEART training schedule is completed. Members must bring their packs to all meetings which will now be more drill oriented.  If members are called out for traffic control, they will be issued appropriate reflective clothing because the green CERT vests do not meet ODOT standards. Members should not wear CERT vests or helmets if they are helping out at an accident or other incident and have not been officially called out by HFD.                                           

             

• CERT mini-conference.

• Neighborhood/Final Exercise tentatively scheduled for June 23rd.

   

  TRAINING:     John Cristle gave a presentation on ICS as it pertains to HEART. Those attending participated in a tabletop exercise with three scenarios of events common to the Hoodland area.
