Urban Area Citizen Corps Working Group is excited to offer this year’s conference as an opportunity to enhance networking
and expand preparedness skills. We sincerely appreciate your dedication to serve your community as an engaged, proactive volunteer
and hope to inspire continued involvement with programs.
Our Objective
To expand core knowledge beyond individual Citizen Corps program. We hope to widen volunteer opportunities,
expand skill sets, facilitate positive interaction, and reduce duplication of services by engaging with associate programs.

CONTINUED EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
TRAUMA INTERVENTION PROGRAM (TIP) TRAINING INFORMATION The Portland/Vancouver TIP Chapter is seeking volunteers interested in receiving over 50+ hours of intensive training
to learn Emotional First Aid. This National Training Academy will include how to respond to
requests from Police, Fire, and Paramedics to help citizens in crisis.
