Basket Buddies 2007

Basket Buddies 2007

Basket Buddies 2007 surpassed our wildest imagination.  Teaming with Courtney Boyd, Angels On A Mission with the help of donors was able to bring 100 baskets to children living in shelters from abuse this year.  Our greatest numbers ever.  Gabriel brought on a new pal to join the efforts and Ethan helped tow the line for this year's bunny brigade.  Facilities helped by your blessings include: Voice, Greater Pittsburgh Women's Shelter.  Photos coming soon.

Jesus Is The Reason for the Season 2006

This year was our biggest year ever, having helped with the aid of so many wonderfully giving individuals a total of 29 children in 11 families throughout the Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas.  The Angel Brigade also provided books to physician's offices, Children's Hospital and Mercy Behavioral Health.  A whopping 150 pounds of additional items was donated directly to Children, Youth and Family Services of Allegheny County.  Our blessings were plentiful because of the kindness and compassion of our angels.  Thanks Angels.

Christmas In July 2006
Christmas in July was a special time for Angels On A Mission as it was a rite of passage for Gabe.  When Gabriel was five years old we were gifted by The Variety Club with a wonderful Rifton adaptive tricycle that he had been able to ride from ages 5-10, however being the compassionate child that he is, Gabe made the decision that it was time to pass his Rifton Trike along to another child.  As such, through a wonderful free networking organization Gabe was blessed to meet the DiBitetetto Family.  They are a wonderful family that has adopted many children and Gabe was blessed to provide a means of joy to their family by giving Megan a wondeful gift of a Rifton Trike.

Gabe,
Thank you SO much for the bicycle for Megan! This is such a blessing, not only because of the bike, but meeting such wonderful people was the best gift of all!  God Bless you both for the wonderful things you do for people.  There really is no way to thank you enough for what you have given us.  Megan will use her bike and some day she will understand what the significance of it really is and she will know who you are Gabe.  She will some day be able to thank you herself.
God Bless!
Hugs!
Kristyn and Megan DiBitetetto

 Basket Buddies 2006

Basket Buddies 2006 was a great success as Angels all over Pittsburgh donated enough goodies for Gabe to fill 34 Easter Baskets for children living in Protective Women's Shelters.  As an added bonus, one Angel even provided "natural diamond necklaces" for each mom which Gabe packaged in plastic Easter Eggs.  A complete Eggstra Special Eggstravanganza. Facilities that received your blessings include: The Debra House, Women's Center & Shelter Gr. Pgh., Womensplace McKeesport, Washington Women's Shelter. Thanks Angels

Wimberly Family
Jesus Is The Reason For The Season 2005

The Wimberly Family was marooned in Pittsburgh after losing all that they had to Hurricane Katrina.  Grandmother Kathy Wimberly took on the needs of her 7 grandchildren while helping to assist with her own two daughters as they all got back up on their feet.

"What a wonderful Christmas my children had because of your generosity.  They all said to tell you thanks for everything and I thank you as well."

Homeland's Helping Hands 2004
Homeland's Helping Hands sent over 500 pounds of food and toiletries to soldiers overseas while helping to raise over $500.00 for shipping costs.  It was cool to meet Miss Angela and her son Zach... they have a new baby now too... His name is Luke.  We had a lot of fun on helping the Marines and other service men and women.  Click on the picture to visit Homeland's Helping Hands website. Want to Read More...
