About Our Families

Now Accepting 2008 Donations

This year times have been increasingly difficult for the entire nation and there have been a few families who have expressed the need to receive help.  Angels on a Mission is now in need of donations to help these families as they are dealing with their current situations.  If you are interested in adopting a family or simply providing a single want, all is appreciated.  Choose who you would like to help and email a note to angelsonamission@verizon.net to let us know what you will donating.  Then simply either post your item to be mailed or drop off directly at our Crafton location.  All items that are new or gently used are accepted.  Thank you for being an Angel~

The Jakosh Family
The Jakosh Family has been hit hard by the economic status in our nation.  Mrs Jakosh wrote in requesting help for her family as her husband recently underwent heart and lung surgery after having a mild heart attack and more was found than anticipated.  Being the woman that she is, Mrs. Jakosh did everything in her power to maintain her family of six children and be with her husband during this time of concern, however during this process was dismissed from her employment because of her need to have time off in her probationary period.  Between keeping the utilities on and food on the table for this family of eight, times are difficult at best.  See our Angel Tree to provide for the Jakosh Family.
The Thibodeaux Family
The Thibodeaux family recently underwent a great loss.  , Carla's mother passed away in August and they were blessed by receiving custody of their niece, along their other five children they now have a total of six.  However, what they had not anticipated was the expense of a funeral as they are both on Social Security Disability.  It would be a great help to provide for at least a few things for this family as they are truly in need of support from the community. Visit our Angel Tree to see what these children need.
The Robertson Family
The Robertson Family is going through a difficult time as Dad recently was laid off and mom's hours were reduced significantly.  Currently the family is in dire need of a way to stay warm on these cold winter nights as they are now wearing coats indoors to beat the cold.  If you could spare the warmth of one electric blanket, this family would be ever grateful.  Check our Angel Tree to their needs.
The Kusluch Family
The Kusluch family has been an angel to many in the past and in light of current economic situations is now in a position to need help.  Lisa recently moved into a new apartment and is fighting the need for utilities over luxuries.  Any help for this family of three would be appreciated.  Look for the requests on the Angel Tree.
Watkins Family
The Watkins Family is requesting help this year as Mom is disabled from a debilitating automobile accident and is in the process of fighting for Social Security Disability.  Because Dad needed to be home to care for Mom and baby BillyJack, he has lost his job and his vehicle.  To simply get the items they need for their 19 month old son would be gifts enough for this young mother and father.  View the Angel Tree to see what BillyJack needs.
Mulvey Family
Mom, Crystal has written requesting help from our organization in hopes of caring for her three children  Crystal has difficulty finding and keeping work as her seven year old had a heart transplant in the past and now is ill quite frequently because he is immune compromised .  Although Dad is working his hours were reduced recently and they are struggling to care for their family of five.  Visit our Angel Tree to see what they need.
The McKain Family
Leopold Family
Lance requested help through a family member who informed him of our organization.  Lance is a single father of three who recently lost his job due to the slacking economy.  Check the Angel Tree to see what you might be able to help with for his three children.
Global Links
Global Links is an international organization that provides durable medical equipment to some of the most impoverished countries internationally.  We are currently collecting Nebulizers in hopes of providing a breath of fresh air to children who are suffering as they are limited to breathing treatments secondary to limited medical equipment in small clinics .
