My mom got an email at work it went a like this:

Please help with a project that benefits children at local women's shelters.This is the 3rd annual Easter Basket Project. I began this project three years ago because of my own experience staying in a shelter. The reality hit that my son was going to miss his first Easter. I just couldn’t afford it. But, when we woke up that Easter morning a good samaritan filled the dining area with Easter baskets.

Since then, I wanted to make sure that the women and children would continue to have a taste of the sweet joy I felt that morning.

Angels On A Mission has heard the call for action and we are assisting in the collection of donations.

We plan to help support 4 shelters this year:

Debra House in Braddock
Women's Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh
Womensplace in McKeesport
Washington's Women Shelter

All Donations must be received by April 11th so Baskets can be made. Angels On A Mission will pick up or you may drop off directly at CCAC by contacting Courtney Boyd at the college. Also you may give monetary donations by making all checks directly to CCAC and sending attention to Courtney Boyd.
