Here are a couple of paintings, I mostly enjoy painting outdoors!

Everyone knows how to do something. Whether it's playing a guitar, gardening, carpentry, knitting, painting with watercolors, flying a plane...we've all acquired certain skills in our lives, and it's only right that we should want to share the results of our skill and also share what we've learned about how to do it well.

On this site, I'm going to talk about my own skill. I'll give a bit of history on the subject itself, as well as some background on how I got involved in it. I might also include some instructions on how to perform my skill, as well as any tips or tricks I've acquired through the years. And, of course, I'll include lots of pictures of the results of my skill.

My skill is painting and I learned how to paint when I was kid. My father is an artist and he taught me a lot. My grandmother was also an artist.

I love to paint outdoors from life. I use a paint box called a pochade (poo-shod).I paint small paintings so I can complete them on site.

I do try to sell my paintings and most of them eventually sell. If you would like to own one of my paintings on this web sight, please contact me by my email address.

You should get your paints and pack them in a cigar box pochade to experience oil painting en plein air. I recommend it to anyone, even you non-artist's. It is a great hobby and it relieves stress.
