The Southern Illinois Stamp Club members gather twice each month
to exchange information about stamp collecting and to plan activities of interest to local stamp collectors. An informative
newsletter is published six times each year.
Meetings
Meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each
month from 5:00 to ~7:30 p.m. at the Science Center in University Mall, Carbondale. Visitors with questions about stamps
or collecting are cordially welcomed!

Membership dues are $10 annually and entitle the stamp collector
to the club newsletter and participation in all club activities including auctions, circuit books, and programs.

Current Stamp Club Activities
December 11: Holiday Party at Coal City Diner (6:00 p.m.). Guests
are most welcome! Please bring your "significant other" or a friend who is interested in collecting.
Stamp Club News
SISC sponsors a free youth group, the Science Center Stampers.
Youths from 6-13 years of age meet on the fourth Sunday of each month from 2:30-4:00 at the Science Center for free stamps
and activities. The next meeting is on Nov. 23. Donated stamps are appreciated and may be dropped off
at the Science Center at any time.
In 2009, SISC will celebrate its 50th anniversary as an American Philatelic
Society affiliate. Watch this web site for further details as they develop.
