The Southern Illinois Stamp Club members gather twice each month to exchange information about stamp collecting and to plan activities of interest to local stamp collectors. An informative newsletter is published six times each year.

Meetings

Meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month from 5:00 to ~7:30 p.m. at the Science Center in University Mall, Carbondale.  Visitors with questions about stamps or collecting are cordially welcomed!

Please e-mail sistampclub@verizon.net for additional information or a free copy of the club newsletter.
Membership

Membership dues are $10 annually and entitle the stamp collector to the club newsletter and participation in all club activities including auctions, circuit books, and programs.

Current Stamp Club Activities

Stamp Club News

SISC sponsors a free youth group, the Science Center Stampers. Youths from 6-13 years of age meet on the fourth Sunday of each month from 2:30-4:00 at the Science Center for free stamps and activities.  The next meeting is on Nov. 23.  Donated stamps are appreciated and may be dropped off at the Science Center at any time.

In 2009, SISC will celebrate its 50th anniversary as an American Philatelic Society affiliate.  Watch this web site for further details as they develop.
