Caravans:
  • Deb Cline group meeting at 11:00 am on Friday (20th).
  • Andrew Sellers group meeting around 5:00pm Friday. (See discussion above for details). 
 
Dig time: Saturday you can come at 8:00 am or 10:00 am, tell them you are with the group from Dallas that Brenda called about (a list will be given to the mine owners). The mine is open from 8:00 am until 4:00pm.
 
Cabin check in time: when you show up on Friday the 20th.
Check out time: noon on Sunday. (Bring your own towels since you will be sharing rooms.)

Costs 
 
Dig: Group discount dig cost: $12/ per person, children under 10 free. CASH ONLY - they only take cash at the site.
 
Cabins:
Lakefront small cabin room with refrigerator & cooking range, 1 full size bed and 1 roll-away bed: $119.90 for 2 nights. CASH or CHECK ONLY at the Fishing Village or else you can use my credit card/pay pal button before hand.
If sharing the room:
if 2 people: $59.95 ea
if 3 people: $39.96 ea.
if 4 people: $29.98 ea

What To Bring?
 
 

- CASH Money: digging (with discount) costs $12 per person cash only, children under age 10 free), gas, food, accommodations if not already paid for (approximately $60 per room per night), and misc. 


- Extra towels, pillow, blanket, & sleeping bag just in case (if staying overnight) 


- Snacks & food for small meals if not wanting to go out 


- Changes of clothes, jackets,

 

-Weather gear for cold and rain as well as sunshine

 

- Toiletries 


-Wear old clothes and old shoes or boots while digging (You will get very dirty & it may stain). 


-Bring changes of clothes & maybe some old towels, plastic or drop cloth to cover car seats etc... for right after the dig

 

-digging tools. Examples: 3-prong hand garden tool, other hand garden tools, old screwdrivers, maybe even a rock hammer, "digging bar" ...

 

-something to put your findings in (buckets, sacks...)

 

-some newspaper for wrapping or covering crystals

 

-Plenty of water

 

-Gloves

 

-First aid kit and emergency contact info.

 

-Musical instrument (drum, rattle, etc.) if you you would like to play one by the campfire!

 

-Stuff for fun?! Whatever else you can think of...
