The Art of Lisa Renner
I
believe strongly that art belongs to the viewer once put on display. It no longer
matters what the artist intended, but rather what the viewer senses. An artist
can not stand beside each piece of art for all of eternity and express what their intentions were. Therefore, the art must speak for itself. With that thought
in mind, I also believe, that each person will see something different. For that reason,
I do not give my work official titles. I do not want to influence what is seen. As long as the art
moves some part of the viewer’s being, then it is successful.
