I first
discovered the world of art when I was 8 years old. A very intuitive teacher
of mine recognized my interests in the arts. She encouraged my parents to find
someone to give me formal training. From that one thought, my life’s path
was planned.
I went
on to study art throughout my entire life. I majored in art in college and now
teach art in a public middle school. Some of my greatest inspiration comes from
seeing discovery in the eyes of my students.
Teaching
allows me the benefit of sharing my knowledge and educating students. It also
allows me time to focus on my own artistic endeavors and raise my family.
