Rev. Marcie D. B. McDonald
|
Rev. McDonald is a Portland, OR based
traveling Interfaith minister for the Universal Life Church, who has been officiating weddings in Oregon and Washington since
June 2002. She has performed an amazing variety of ceremonies with no two exactly alike.
Rev. McDonald has a B.A. in Journalism and Communications from the University of Oregon, with several years professional
writing experience. Currently she is enrolled at Marylhurst University working towards a Master of Divinity degree.
Specializing in custom ceremonies for people of various faiths and backgrounds,
Rev. McDonald thinks clergy should be open to helping a couple create a wedding that speaks to and about them. She helps facilitate
for a couple, and does not try to convert them or force them to do things her way.

Having done all facets of product development: research, specifications, development, documentation, test suites. I have
dealt with many processors over the years, using various languages depending on the application. Having done enough projects
at the board level, I have moved to digital hardware design. My experience has given me the opportunity to use many different
sensors and controls along with the different communication protocols that allow chips to talk to other devices.
I am the one who is called to handle the more complicated bugs. I follow these 3 rules:
- get in over your head
- realize you can’t swim
- then swim.
