The next Otakon will be 2010, July 30 - August 1, at the Baltimore Convention Center.

 

Otakon is big, professionally ran, first rate video equipment and lots to do! 

 

If you want a hotel within walking distance you will have to pay a premium. Watch this site and the Otakon web site for details on when you can reserve your room.

 

You will want to preregister for this convention and pick up you badge the Thursday evening before the con starts so that you don't miss anything standing in line Friday morning.  The line on Thursday starts forming early but there is no need to wait. Just go over one hour after badge pick up is scheduled to begin. The line will be moving and you will get through quickly.
