After taking a year off, T-Mode is scheduled for April 16-18,
2010, at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, Virginia, right outside of Washington, DC.
The con rate will be $119 and can be booked using a link on the T-Mode web page, or right here!
T-Mode is the smallest of the anime cons we attend. Only around 200 people.
But they lack nothing in fun and entertainment. T-Mode has more musical guests than any of the big cons and offers great opportunities
to meet and hang out with guests and bands.
You will want to preregister to save some money and get a room at the hotel,
but no need to arrive Thursday, just get there when they say they are going to start registration.
WELCOME BACK T-MODE!
T-Mode 2008 was a very successful event.
T-Mode is a very small convention but it if filled with fun!
The dealer’s room had only a few dealers, but they did have
anime, shirts, games, posters, and all the usual fare.
The Artist’s alley was not well attended, but there was
some interesting art work nonetheless.
With more musical guests than any of the larger cons the main
event room was almost always rocking.
The game room was great with every station working throughout
the con.
The two video rooms were always running anime or AMVs.
Most of the panels were sparsely attended, but that provided great
opportunity for really good Q&A sessions. We had a great time playing, "Are You A Werewolf?" And the Ten Greatest
AMVs of All Time panel was well attended.
World class guests, great music, great games, great anime, T-Mode
2008 was a great success!
