Back to body contacts on this one but with a slight change. The three points that I consider "main" contact points I added a washer under to highlight them. A "main" contact is one you touch along with one of several other to cause sounds. Wired an input into the hand mic so you could input noise from another toy and distort it further. Also added a 1/4" output wired to speaker and an on/off switch so you could make the noise without having to push down the play button. Note that this is a player not a recorder so did not bother with a motor control.
UPDATE -- The play function was acting flacky and finally found problem. Motor was going bad. Pulled one from a Walkman type tape player that was an exact fit and replaced it. Also added a potentiometer to control the play speed (can slow it down to stop). Located on right side -- see pic on right.
Just making noise with the contact points.
Inputting the Elmo MiniGuitar into the beast and distorting it.
Playing Swan Lake and messing about with the body contacts and tape speed control while doing so.
