My first turntable "bend". The motor that powers the turntable I left alone -- it plugs into house current AND IS COMPLETELY SEPERATE FROM THE BENT AMPLIFYER CIRCUIT.
The separate amplifyer circuit is powered by 4 AA batteries (note the bottom picture). This was pulled from an old cassette deck and is bent. The needle is wired in place of the tape head. Body contact points were wired into the amp circuit. A 45 rpm record with one side modified is included.
Controls are as follows:
1 >> Needle sensitivity 2 >> Amp volume control and poer on/off 3 >> Speaker volume
4 >> Primary contact point (touch this one and one of the others 5 >> "Other" contact points
6 >> Speaker on/off 7 >> 1/4 inch sound out.

The first sample is with an unmodified 45 playing with the needle sensitivity and contact points.
The second sample is with a scratched and scored side of the 45. My interest is in playing with the percussion possiblilites of this.
