The Shield on top of this page and to the right of this paragraph is our State Seal and this seal has been the symbol
of the State PBA since its inception more than 100 years ago.
The State PBA has grown to a state wide organization representing all walks of the law enforcement community on
the local, county and state levels of government.
On a personal note the state PBA has been the only police union who has been instrumental in obtaining job protection,
legal rights, police powers, pension options and health benefits for all NJ Correction Officers as equal counterparts
in the law enforcement community and for that we are proud and greatful.
