One of the first building steps involves installing the rear axle.
I'm using the FFR 3-link suspension with Koni coil-overs. My helpers were gone that day, so I used my hoist to help
me position the rear axle.

By the end of July, I completed the front suspension and had a rolling
chassis. The front suspension uses the tubular lower control arms and Koni coil-overs. There was a slight pause
in the building process because Factory Five sent a Coupe steering shaft with the kit. The lower part of the shaft
is several inches too long to fit in the Roadster. The Customer Service guys were really nice and FedEx-ed
me a replacement shaft quickly.
I got four temporary spare tires with the donor parts and they were very useful for
rolling the chassis around.
