It all started with a big box....
Actually, it all started in my childhood when I first saw a photograph of a Cobra.
The car had classic British sports car lines, and added the great aspects of a "Detroit Iron" muscle car.
In the late 1990's, I stumbled across a Factory Five add in a magazine, and a dream
was born. In 2001, the dream became a vocalized plan - that I would embark on a father-son car building project
when my son was older. The plan was supposed to begin in 2005, but was delayed 2 1/2 years by external circumstances.
In March 2008, my donor parts arrived from Phoenix, Arizona. Tom
Thompson at AMP Performance (http://www.ampperformance.com) took good care of me and sent me a donor kit. The parts are from a 2001 Mustang GT.
Which brings us back to the big box mentioned above:

After cleaning up the Mustang parts, I ordered my kit from Factory Five.
