I know it's been awhile since I've updated this site and I appologize to all who faithfully check. A new reader was kind enough to bring it to my attention so I promised to take some time to do some news. And, as with everyone suffering from our current financial slow down, ImaJinn Books has delayed my next two releases and again, I appologize. But, they are trying to get Forever One released in March, 2011 and One Heart is to be released later on. Fingers crossed.
In the meantime, all of my previous releases, Winged Victory, Winged Darkness and Pleasure Dome, have come out in the new Kindle format. Yea! And, Pleasure Dome is being offered at a special price of $2.99 for a limited time. I've been really pleased with how well it has done. At first, I was hesitant about doing such a sensual book but, from the sales, obviously readers have enjoyed it. Thank you, kind readers,
ImaJinn has offered me a chance to do a sequel so I'm busy with new stuff. Always love a challenge. And, speaking of challenges, stay with me and hopefully, soon, I will have new material for you. Thanks so much. Linda

On April 25, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Michelle Harned (right) of Michelle's Books in Calimesa, CA hosted a book signing of the Pleasure Dome for me. We had a great time and thank all of you who came by to make my day special. You are the greatest! Thank you to everyone for helping me realize my dreams. I couldn't have done this without you! And, man, am I ever having fun!
Deborah Baker was again first in line to prepurchase her copy of Pleasure Dome.(Sorry, but we have to use an old picture of her, since I wasn't on hand when she came in.) Thank you so much, Deborah, for being such a faithful fan. And, again, thank all of you for helping me realize my dreams!

pleasure-dome4.jpg
ISBN 978-1-933417-45-5

Captain Soledad Scott, forced to give up her warship command, seeks out the services of the Pleasure Dome for the computer matched genes of the perfect father for her new career---as a mother. She didn't count on Fare or on her worm hole dyslexia that can't distinguish Room 660 from Room 990.
Commander Gabriel Merriweather, half-breed Chakkra and master empath for the Spacing Guild's Diplomatic Corps, is waiting in the Pleasure Dome's Room 990. He is expecting a sterile playmate and a few hours of much needed relaxation.
Neither get what they expect---they get so much more.
But can love triumph over prejudice? Can an ex-military captain who blames the Guild for her forced retirement find love with a Guild diplomat who may be directly responsible for her loss of command? And can a savage half-breed empath accept fatherhood when all his beliefs demand that he give up his life to bring peace and to save others?
Released in March, 2009, Pleasure Dome is available through ImaJinn Books or Amazon.com and Kindle. ISBN 978-1-933417-45-5 See ImaJinnbooks.com for a sneak peek chapter.

My biggest fan, I miss you, pal.

I lost my biggest fan and one of my best friends on Dec. 22, 2008. For the past fifteen years, Dave has always been in my corner, cheering me on with encouragement and lively advice. He wanted to be the first to read the Pleasure Dome and just missed the March 2009 release. He had read the first few chapters in their rough draft though and was quick to lend me his critique.
Dave's eyes sparkled with mischief, and he nodded with enthusiasm as he told me to 'flesh out' this part or throw away that in the story of Soledad Scott, a retired battlestar captain who has decided on a new career---as a mother. The only problem, her worm hole dyslexia takes her to the wrong room on the Pleasure Dome where unknowingly, her sperm donor is her worst enemy. Is the universe a big enough place for her to hide from him? You can read a sneak peek of Pleasure Dome on ImaJinn Book's site under new releases.
Any author would be lucky to find such a friend and fan as Dave. Every Friday for the past fifteen years, for as long as he was able, Dave would join our group of six that terrorized the local restaurants. I'll never forget the dinner we had after the book signing of my first book, Winged Victory. Everyone had barbequed ribs at Marla's Restaurant that afternoon and was it ever a messy affair.
I've dedicated the Pleasure Dome to Dave, I know he would have liked it, warts and all. Miss you, pal o' mine.
And to those of you who have such friends or fans, hang on to them and value them dearly. They are worth their weight in gold and are just as hard to find.

Although I've been writing for years, I wasn't brave enough to submit my stories until 2001. Fortunately, I suffered only shallow rejection wounds until I found a publisher brave enough to tackle my paranormal imagination. Thank you Linda Kichline of ImaJinn Books! As for entertainment,I love reading anything paranormal. Frank Herbert, Steven King, Dean Koontz, Laurell K. Hamilton, Jacqueline Carey, Diana Gabaldon, Sara Douglass, Melanie Rawn, Christine Feehan,(the list is too looong!) are among my favorite keepers. Needless to say, my favorite tv shows are on the SciFi channel. Battlestar Galactica and Torchwood are my current favs. Of course, the best movie of all time was LOTRs. Yea!

Write and I will answer as soon as I can.
