| Jesus sweating blood 4 U. |
He
sweat blood 4 US ! For he was in such agony of spirit that he broke into a sweat
of blood, with great drops falling to the ground as he prayed more and more earnestly. . . . . . . . "O My Father, if it is
possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.'' (Lu.22:44 LB Matthew
26:39)
Hematidrosis .. is a very rare
condition in which a human...sweats blood. -- Under conditions of great emotional stress, tiny capillaries in the sweat glands can rupture (Lumpkin, 1978), thus mixing blood with perspiration. This condition has
been reported in extreme instances of stress (Sutton, 1956, pp. 1393-1394)

* While the extent of
blood loss generally is minimal, hematidrosis also results in the skin becoming extremely tender and fragile, which would
have made Christ’s pending physical insults even more painful. From these factors, it is evident that even
before Jesus endured the torture of the cross, He suffered far beyond what most of us will ever suffer. His penetrating awareness
of the heinous nature of sin, its destructive and deadly effects, the sorrow and heartache that it inflicts, and the extreme
measure necessary to deal with it, make the passion of Christ beyond all comprehension. - http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles/2223
It
was our sins that separated him from God, broke his heart , caused him to sweat blood and finally crushed out the life
of Jesus.
In Gethsemane Peter, James and John all "saw His face marked with the bloody sweat of agony, and they were filled with fear.
His anguish of mind they could not understand." {DA 690.1} But God understood the agony of Jesus and
sent an angel not to take away the cup of pain and death but to strengthen Jesus to endure to the end. The angel
reminded Jesus of Isaiah's "Lamb of God" and also of the Passover Lamb that was to die in 18 hours. Jesus was to fulfill
the prophecy and become the true Passover Lamb. His holy life and sacrificial death would open the gates of heaven
to a lost world. The angel assured Jesus that many would accept his sacrifice, the enemy would be defeated, justice would
reign forever, and he would be satisfied. *

* Living Bible - Isaiah 53:11
- And when he sees
all that is accomplished by the anguish of his soul, he shall be satisfied; and because of what he has experienced, my righteous
Servant shall make many to be counted righteous before God, for he shall bear all their sins.

| Heaven is a real happy place |
- Isaiah 11:6 LB - In that day the wolf and the lamb will lie down together, and the leopard
and goats will be at peace. Calves and fat cattle will be safe among lions, and a little child shall lead them all.
Hebrews 12:2. Keep your eyes on Jesus, our leader and instructor. He was willing to die
a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterwards; and now he sits in the place of honor by
the throne of God. 3. If you want to keep from becoming fainthearted and weary, think about his patience as sinful men
did such terrible things to him. 4. After all, you have never yet struggled against sin and temptation until you sweat great
drops of blood.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through
the gates into the city. Rev.22:14. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. -- John 3:16.
Jesus bled and died for you to have eternal life of happiness.
WHY DID THE MESSIAH JESUS NEED TO DIE?
|
 |
|
**About 18 hours after sweating blood in the garden of Gethsemane
Jesus died on the cross at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon. It was on the 14th day of the first Jewish month the exact time
for the passover lamb to be sacrificed that Jesus shouted out, "It is finished" and died on the cross of calvary. Not
only did Jesus fulfil the passover lamb prophecy but He died the exact year fortold by Daniel the prophet over 500 years
before the event. (Daniel 9:23-27)

When the loud cry, "It is finished," came from the lips
of Christ, the priests were officiating in the temple. It was the hour of the evening sacrifice. The lamb representing Christ
had been brought to be slain. Clothed in his significant and beautiful dress, the priest stood with lifted knife, as did Abraham
when he was about to slay his son. With intense interest the people were looking on. But the earth trembles and quakes; for
the Lord Himself draws near. With a rending noise the inner veil of the temple is torn from top to bottom by an unseen hand,
throwing open to the gaze of the multitude a place once filled with the presence of God. In this place the Shekinah had dwelt.
Here God had manifested His glory above the mercy seat. No one but the high priest ever lifted the veil separating this apartment
from the rest of the temple. He entered in once a year to make an atonement for the sins of the people. But lo, this veil
is rent in twain. The most holy place of the earthly sanctuary is no longer sacred. {DA 756.5}
All is terror and confusion. The priest is about to slay the victim; but the knife drops from his nerveless hand, and the
lamb escapes. Type has met antitype in the death of God's Son. The great sacrifice has been made. The way into the holiest
is laid open. A new and living way is prepared for all. No longer need sinful, sorrowing humanity await the coming of the
high priest. Henceforth the Saviour was to officiate as priest and advocate in the heaven of heavens. It was as if a living
voice had spoken to the worshipers: There is now an end to all sacrifices and offerings for sin. The Son of God is come according
to His word, "Lo, I come (in the volume of the Book it is written of Me,) to do Thy will, O God." "By His own blood" He entereth
"in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." Heb. 10:7; 9:12. {DA 757.1}
