Japan's Satsuma Rebellion of 1877

An over looked, yet fascinating rebellion pitted the samurai of the Satsuma tribe against the recently formed Japanese Imperial military.  The Satsuma samurai quickly ran out of ammunition for their firearms and resorted to combat with the sword.  Despite being well supplied, the Imperial forces at times laid down their firearms and joinned combat with the sword. 

To my knowledge, there are no rules for the Satsuma Rebellion.  I would be more than willing to work with a rules designer as I continue to sculpt out the line.  If you have input, please e-mail me.
