After nine years of training under another painting outfit, learning the trades from industrial sandblasting, exotic coating applications, correct procedures for surface preparation, commercial painting operations, interior & exterior residential painting, chemical cleaning, and so on. The work was never dull and everyday I tried to learn something new. After nine years of schooling most professionals become doctors, lawyers, judges, but not this man. I decided it was time to hang out my shingle and become a professional painting contractor. So on April 15th, 2001, I tackled my first contract and Glisan Painting Company was forged!  

 

In the beginning I will admit I was scared, not knowing if I could find enough work to keep the company running. In the back of my head a little voice kept whispering: Honesty, Quality, Reliablity, and Don't Get Greedy! So, listening to that little voice, I put my nose to the grindstone and went to work. Shortly after, Glisan Painting Company began building a strong reputation for customer service, dedication and quality workmanship.

 

Presently, Glisan Painting Company has grown to provide a wide base of painting services ranging from educational faculities, housing authorities, commercial buildings, municipalities, planned housing developments and growing strong roots with new residential customers everyday.
