FM Lady Thunder is focused on making a positive difference in the lives of our program participants and citizens of our local communities.

FM Lady Thunder will attempt to teach your daughter the value of hard work, commitment, focus, preparation and dedication for the benefit of a common cause.  Equally as important, she must be willing to actively participate in the range of community service initiatives organized throughout the course of the year.

Below is a summary of what FM Lady Thunder offers our members in exchange for their decision to spend their basketball investment dollars with our organization:

- we are a legitimate non-profit organization,

- we have a POSITIVE impact on the community,

- actively seek and embrace opportunities for diversity,

- year end scholarship awards for scholastic results and citizenship,

- league/tournament expenses are equally distributed across all members,

- smaller roster sizes (7-8 per team) versus the larger club teams,

- nobody plays for free as long as other members are paying,

- program costs average < $100 per month over the course of the season,

- provide a pay as you go (month-to-month) opportunity,

- low initiation fees (covers playbook and optional team bag),

- team fundraising activities are encouraged to keep costs down,

- fund raising opportunities available for individual expenses (but not required),

- discounts applied to scheduling conflicts communicated in advance,

- refunds if a player is injured or has to sit out temporarily,

- minimum 3.2 GPA is expected for participation (players submit report cards),

- program is a year round activity; September thru July,

- offer annual trips to the 1st & 2nd rounds of the Women’s NCAA Tournament,

- 65+ competitive games per year (younger teams may differ),

- 200+ hrs of practice annually with small group sizes (younger teams may differ),

- 2 days of practice each week at 2.0+ hrs each (younger teams may differ)

- serious focus on player development by working every practice on fundamentals,

- .710+ winning percentage since our formation in 2003,

- 100% of all team trophies won are issued back to players,

- at least 1 MVP award issued per team per tourney win,

- 2008 11U BCI National Championship Runner-Up,

- 2009 7th Grade PrimeTime National Championship - 5th Place.

We challenge all prospects to seek a more genuinely committed and caring coaching staff (each with a daughter in the program) that provides a higher level of fundamentally sound instruction with clearer expectations of your daughter for the membership costs of our program.

FM Lady Thunder fosters, encourages and promotes a higher level of personal responsibility and accountability under the umbrella of a genuine TEAM setting.

We DO NOT tolerate any level of nonsense on or off the court.  We permit no politics on the team or in the stands, and absolutely nobody is permitted to remain in our organization that is not completely committed to our mission and program regardless of the individuals' skill set.

If FM Lady Thunder sounds like an organization you want your family to be associated with simply drop us a note using the link below and a member of our coaching staff will gladly begin the evaluation process.
