FM Lady Thunder Youth Organization

Becoming a Member of FM Lady Thunder:

For the 2009-2010 season we plan to have FIVE (5) teams:

14U/9th Grade for players born ON or AFTER 01-SEP-94 (Coach Bone)

13U/8th Grade for players born ON or AFTER 01-SEP-95 (Coach Martin)

12U/7th Grade for players born ON or AFTER 01-SEP-96 (Coach Bone)

11U/6th Grade for players born ON or AFTER 01-SEP-97 (Coach Jones)

10U/5th Grade for players born ON or AFTER 01-SEP-98 (TBD)

We are currently seeking talented, dedicated and committed select level players to fill our 2009-2010 rosters. All teams are built for age and grade based tournament events.

In the 2009-2010 season we plan for the older teams to play in local events as well as travel to participate in events within a 300 mile radius of DFW (driving distance).

Between the months of October and March we most often play our own age/grade division as the teams gel, grow and learn how to play well with each other.

Between the months of April and July we prefer to have the teams play up at least one age/grade division to challenge the players to a higher level as we prepare for Nationals where we then drop back down to play our age/grade divisions.

Note: We run a clean, honest and upstanding program. Cheating under any circumstance is NEVER acceptable. Players may be asked to play UP based on a need or for a development opportunity, yet nobody will ever play below their age for any reason.

FM Lady Thunder is always looking for TEAM oriented, passionate, offensive minded, attacking style players that are HIGHLY coachable and LOVE to play defense!

We accept only "BASKETBALL FIRST" athletes into our program.

No other sports team commitment (other than school basketball thru February) shall interfere or conflict with a players availability or participation in FM Lady Thunder scheduled events.

Note: Exceptions may be granted for the 10U and 11U teams as we realize that these ladies may be too young to expect they focus soley on one sport as this point in their young lives.
