BETTER GRADES, BETTER OPTIONS!
To participate in the FM Lady Thunder basketball program participants are expected to achieve and maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA (parents decision
to suspend from program due to grades).
In order to validate this expectation players are requested to submit their report cards to their respective
coach at the end of each official reporting period for their school.
Note: GPA eligibility is based on a summary of all courses taken by the athlete (excluding
Athletics and/or PE).
Active members at the conclusion of the 2008-2009 season that joined the organization prior
to the end of March with a GPA of 3.5 or higher received a $75 scholarship to be applied towards
membership fees in June 2010.
For the 2008-2009 school year the Board of Directors issued $900
in scholastic achievement scholarships.
Note: In total, FM Lady Thunder has awarded $1,450
in scholarship awards in the past two years.
