Preseason Conditioning and Nutritional Guidelines

FM Lady Thunder is pleased to announce the return of Coach Tanya Johnson as our FULL TIME strength and conditioning coach.

Coach Johnson is an extremely disciplined, focused and a morally solid individual that is an absolute fanatic of physical fitness.

Her military background combined with a strong commitment to make a positive difference in the lives of young ladies makes her a perfect fit to coordinate all strength, conditioning, agility, speed, coordination and balance initiatives in our program.

Coach Johnson will remain primarilty responsible for our warm-up, stretching and core conditioning activities that account for the first 20-30 minutes of every practice.  Throughout practice Coach Johnson works with a few players at a time to improve individual conditioning that ultimately improves performance on the court.

Coach Johnson assists the staff with effectively utilizing every available moment in practice events as well as maximizes every dollar invested by member families.

The role of Coach Johnson also includes nutritional counseling and guidance to players and interested family members with the intent of obtaining higher levels of energy and focus in the classroom, practice and competitive situations.
