Here is a visual comparison of tha factory premium level speakers and the JL Audio speakers.
 
From what I see, the factory speakers don't look too bad. The woofers have a decent magnet size, and the cones look to be of fair construction.
 
The tweeters are less easily compared though. I really can't tell much just from looking at them, and I don't have the necessary equipment to test them for differences, so we'll just have to assume the aftermarket is better. They certainly sound better so far.

THe JL tweeter is on the left and the factory are the two on the right.

The factory and JL tweeters just happened to be the exact same size. The JL tweeters just popped right into the same spot.

Here is the JL Audio tweeter mounted. It fit perfectly.

Here's the backs of the factory tweeters.

You can see the capacitor that acts as the passive filter for the tweeter. It's on the bottom of the tweeter with the white connector. The other tweeter has a spot for one, but they decided to divide the frequencies in the amp instead.

From the front you can't see any difference at all.
