The factory "premium" system is very good for what it is, a factory stereo system. While it is not a bad system, it can
be improved, and I've set out to do just that. The systems integration with the other features of the car (nav, Bluetooth,
etc.) make this a bit more difficult than other cars. JL Audio and a few other manufacturers have made the job easier
though by making OEM integration units that can "remove" equalization curves and provide a clean output for amplifiers.

Factory Premium JBL system made it tricky to upgrade, so the JL Audio Cleansweep SSI and dsp441 will help.

The 8W7 is capable of 130 dB! That is pretty good for a 12" sub, and this is only an 8".

I'm all about quality instead of quantity. I like my hearing, and would like to keep it. I chose the 6.5" ZR Evolution
components becuase they are some of the best around.

POWER! 250 watts to the 8W7, and each corner gets 75 watts. Plenty to get loud, but also enough to play clean without
any distortion.
