Like the staff of the Dining Cars, we're eager for your visit! For a small diner on Highway
101 they employed a large staff at the Dining Cars Cafe. Below, the last operator of the unique cafe added a service
station in the parking lot to try and draw more business off of the highway. It only succeed until the cars were cut
off from easy freeway access, thus ending the Dining Cars chances of success. From 1946 until around 1958 a number of
operators tried their hand at making a go of this unusual restaurant.
