Rocky Knob Hawk Watch is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Saddle over-look,
mile marker 168. At the Saddle parking area the trail runs roughly North/South, paralleling the Parkway and the Gorge.
At the parking area head North--which would be left as you're looking out over Rock Castle Gorge. Follow
the trail through the small woodlot, then go through the cattle-catcher gate at the edge of the pasture. From there
it's a couple of hundred yards to the brow of the hill there on the pasture where the Hawk Watch is set up. Seth
