Negrete’s cuisine of choice is authentic Mexican food because he said there is a “need to promote our [Mexican] culture and original roots since a lot of Mexican restaurants have more Tex-Mex food and don’t sell authentic Mexican food.”  Negrete’s favorite dish on the menu: if he is in a hurry he likes the tacos, but if he has a chance to sit down then he will have the Chile Relleno or a Combo Parral, which can be a combination of different types of meats from the grill.

“Customers like everything so far because of the service and entertainment,” Negrete said.

El Parral Restaurant y Taqueria is letting people know what authentic Mexican food is and in an entertaining atmosphere. Negrete offers his customers a variety of live entertainment nearly every night of the week.

“On Wednesday we have ‘Bohemian Nights,’ which is a romantic atmosphere, on Thursday we have a comedy show with Travesty's, on Friday we provide a dancing environment with some of the top singers in the metroplex, Saturday we have a local swing Latino band and Sunday is ‘Karaoke and Comedy Night,’” Negrete said.

El Parral Restaurant y Taqueria is all about customer service. Negrete said his goals are to “provide a comfortable and safe environment, make customers feel they have great food and a nighttime place where they can relax and enjoy food with some of the best comedy shows in the metroplex.”
