Monte Bella Ranch is a fiber based business. We raise alpacas, cashmere goats, and shetland
sheep. Each Spring we gather the fiber, process it into yarn, and then weave and knit 100% natural, heirloom quality products, grown
and made in Oregon.
Monte Bella Ranch is perched on top of Parrett Mountain, just up the hill from some of
Yamhill county's finest wineries.
Out on the knoll, overlooking Mount Hood, you will find quite
a few Alpacas,
including our champion herd sire. There is a peace among these graceful animals, and it is here we welcome boarding, offer
stud service and alpaca sales.
One field over, are the ever playful and entertaining Cashmere Goats.
They will untie your shoes, chew on your pants, and explore your pockets for something interesting to nibble on. They will
even follow you to your car and jump inside for a reasonable price.
Across the hill, having a lazy
day under the walnut tree, you can find a small herd of Shetland Sheep. A very hardy animal. these ewes come from champion
bloodlines, and have amazing fleece in a variety of colors.
