Some of our great musical collaborators...

WAYNE ST. PIERRE
of SAINTS AND SINNERS

About Wayne:

Wayne St. Pierre of Saints and Sinners is a man on a musical mission! Wayne has played in very successful cover bands in the past, but has always wanted to promote his original music. So he has set out to get his music heard!

In addition to songwriting, Wayne plays guitar, mandolin and banjo. Add in his gritty vocals (We've heard comparasions to Tom Waits and Robbie Robertson - but Wayne has a style all his own!) and you've got a very interesting combination that definitely deserves a listen!

Wayne and his band Saints and Sinners will be opening for Claude Bourbon at The Dessert Club at Steve’s Backstage Pass on April 29th, 2006. The Dessert Club is located at 15 School Street, Taunton MA. For More information call 508-824-3436 or visit www.thedessertclub.com Tickets are $12.00.

You can also catch Wayne with Saints and Sinners at the Narrows in Fall River on May 17th 2006.

Other Musician Affiliates:

Dave Matheson
Another great musician that Raven has collaborated with in the past, writing lyrics for his soulful melodies. A past collboration appeared on an earlier Album. Currently Dave and Raven are working on a collaborative piece entitled "Solitude".

Review of Dave's Album UNAWARE

"On first listen, it's obvious that Dave Matheson is indebted to rock's watershed late 60's - early 70's period. What soon becomes apparent, though, is that he wisely favors creating something original that is informed by his influences rather than outright slavish imitation of any particular style or artist.

Dave cites his influences as being wide and far ranging from Pink Floyd to Steely Dan; from the Moody Blues to the acoustic singer-songwriter movement in general.  Dave's primary instrument here is the acoustic guitar but the icing on the cake here is the melodies. Several of the tracks have melodies that tend to stay with you after the first listen.

Susan Lainey
Susan Lainey has been surrounded by music all her life. When she was young, her family always got together on Sunday afternoons to play live music, mostly country and rock & roll.

As a teenager, she began performing at coffeehouses and churches, and jamming with other players to the folk, blues and country rock of the 60s and 70s. She toured throughout New England, playing ski resorts, colleges, festivals and jamborees. Later, she toured northern New England with several bands including a performance for the Winter Olympics at Lake Placid, NY.

She moved back to her hometown in 1979, still writing original songs but mostly performing covers at local clubs. After marrying, she worked for a number of years in the health care field, including as a music facilitator for adults in day care and preschoolers, and started to pursue a degree in gerontology / music therapy. But the siren call of music lured her back.

In 1995, she formed her own business, In-Tune Consulting, which provides music programs for over 50 health facilities in the SouthCoast area. She also does private gatherings such as weddings, anniversaries, wedding and baby showers, memorial services and dedications, birthday parties and more. That same year she performed in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium.

Her musical career of 30-plus years culminated with the release of her first CD, entitled simply “Susan Lainey.” The CD features 11 songs with a country-folk flavor written by Ms. Lainey, along with three oldies and three gospel hymns.
