Naggin' Blues
[WRITER'S NOTES]
This song was born out of an improv jam session that Raven
and Tyler had with their good friend and sometimes accompaniest, Jarrod Hines. It had been some long while since the three
had a jam together, and they eagerly discussed all the news they had to share. Jarrod was introduced to the Dean Resonator
and immediately began to play a standard blues rhythm strum pattern - which Tyler quickly picked up, and then
Raven began improving over with vocals and blues harp. Luckily, Raven had the sense to click record - and the moment was caught.
Later, Raven reworked the arrangement, cleaned up the improv lyrics and gave the song a format. The results are pretty cool
- straight out of the Delta!
Raven plays resonator for the rhythm guitar track and Tyler
plays the resonator for the lead guitar track - this is the first time they used only the resonator in a recording. Raven
is also playing blues harp on this one.

care of you Oh but if I feel like doin’ nothin’ That’s what you better let me do
Don’t

to be nagged - If I hasta kill ya It’s gonna hurt real bad
I’m gonna get me a shovel, Bury you
down in the yard Ooooooooh whoa whoa I gonna get me a shovel, Bury you down in the yard But I don’t wanna
hafta kill ya, baby I don’t wanna work that hard.
