In 1143, Arya Nargarjuna reincarnated as Lord Jigten Sumgon who was the main disciple of Phagmo Drupa. He established the great Drikung Thil Monastery in Tibet which is the main seat of the Drikung Kaygu lineage.
Since Lord Jigten Sumgon, the first Drikung Kagyu throne holder, there have been 35 enlightened masters who have transmitted the Drikung Kagyu practice lineage in an unbroken line to the present day.
Today the Drikung Kagyu Lineage is jointly held  by their Holinesses,  the 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, Konchog Tenzin Kunsang Trinley Lhundrup (1947) in India, and the 36 th Drikung Kyabgon Chungtsang, Konchog Tenzin Chokyi Nangwa (1942) in Tibet.

May all mother sentient beings, boundless as the sky, have happiness and the causes of happiness.
May they be liberated from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May they never be separated from the happiness which is free from sorrow.
May they rest in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion.
