Welcome to the ancient and mysterious realm of High Imaskar. You are
a member of Wyvern Company Thirteen, a security force dedicated to righting wrongs. The Lodge of Retributive Masters has recruited
members of your Company from everywhere on the continent. In turn, you make up a small and secret elite military
force and you are equipped to accomplish any mission. Companies are tasked with assassinations, raids, reconnaissance,
and hostage rescue missions. Additionally, you will be infiltrating secretive cults as well as exploring ancient tombs and
mysterious dungeons all in the name of your country.
You take assignments from your mysterious commander, Retributive Master
Shroudbearer. Traveling the length and breadth of Eastern Faerun, you enjoy unprecedented support from the military
of High Imaskari aboard the flying Redwing Guard. However, you must ultimately work alone, far from help, and in some of the
most inhospitable and deadliest places in all of Abeir-Toril!

Aldwin was an orphan raised in the manor-keep of Baron
Thorne, a minor noble of House Orbaskyr in Cormyr. His adoptive parents were Eldric and Aleena, two of the Baron's minor servants.
The Baron's lands were in eastern Cormyr, north of Wheloon and west of the Thunder Peaks.
Aldwin was loved and grew up happy, but
he had a penchant for trouble and mischief-making that grew as he aged. Whenever caught, he would make restitution and promise
to do better to his constantly exasperated parents. As a young man, he caught the eye of Baron Thorne's daughter, Farica,
and they fell in love. When the Baron found out, he was outraged his daughter would sully herself with a lowly peasant, and
ordered his men to bring Aldwin before him.
A fight broke out in the Baron's council
chamber, and Aldwin ended up slaying two of the Baron's guards. When Thorne himself attacked Aldwin, Farica tried to interject
herself between them, and the Baron ran her through, unable to stop the killing blow meant for Aldwin. Aldwin was then struck
unconscious from behind by another guard.
Mad with rage and grief, Baron Thorne framed
Aldwin for the murders of his guards and his daughter, then had him thrown into the prison-city of Wheloon (the king had ordered
the city sealed off with brick and magic when it was discovered much of the population were Shar worshipers. The fact that
some of the citizens were innocent couldn't factor into the decision.)
Aldwin fell in with a group of decent people
just looking to survive in the hellish prison, and soon found himself working at odds with the Sharrans (that is, stealing
from them every chance he got) to feed and equip his new friends. Eventually, he and a few others were able to quietly fight
their way free through a long-forgotten (but monster infested) sewer tunnel.
Finally free, but now a wanted murderer
in his homeland, he took the new name Zerric, and his adventures have taken him ever eastward. While traveling through High
Imaskar, he happened upon a group of slavers who had cornered a small family. Dispatching them as a lone Vengeance Taker came
upon the scene, he was recruited into the force.
While "Zerric" maintains his happy-go-lucky,
rogue with a heart of gold personality, he does desire to someday return to Cormyr and clear his name (and settle accounts
with Baron Thorne!).
