Trilene Knot
The Trilene knot is a strong, reliable connection that resists slippage and is a good
choice for joining monofilament line to swivels, snaps, hooks and lures. The unique double wrap design and ease of tying yield
consistently strong connections.
From my personal experiences, this
knot does not perform well when using braided lines. After getting wet and subject to stress, the knot has a tendency to slip
and become untied after some time has elapsed.

| Step 1 |
1. Run the end of the line through the eye two times.

|
| Step 2 |
2. Wrap the free end of the line around the standing part 6 times, then
thread the tag end back through the 2 loops formed by the two wraps through the eye.

|
| Step 3 |
3. Tighten the knot with a steady, even motion, without hesitation (Note:
wetting the knot area will assist the tightening process and prevent line damage). Trim the tag end, leaving 1/8" - 1/4".
