Derek Brandow will be coaching two summer baseball teams (16U & 18U) in 2009. The idea is to provide teams for Wylie players to be able to show their skills in Texas and around the country. As the Wylie Baseball program grows, this will be a great way to allow the players the opportunity to play together year-round. This summer we have a strong core of Wylie players that are committed to working hard and improving their skills, while also showing the scouts, both college and professional, that they are serious about the game. There are many opportunities at the higher levels of the game, and those opportunities need to be filled by local players.
