Testimonials:
Wendy is a wonderful person and her work is an extension of her personality. Choosing Wendy is putting your body
in good hands.
Michele Broad, Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health and Wellness
Murrieta, CA
My need for massage therapy started over 8+ years ago. Wendy Hammarstrom is the only person I would trust with
my body. I had shoulder surgery and my Orthopedic Surgeon credited my complete range of motion afterwards to my
massages with Wendy. My back likes to bother me on occasion and Wendy is always able to "fix" me. Going through the
death of a loved one and the death of a marriage would not have been possible without the body work from Wendy.
I highly recommend working with Wendy whatever pain you are going through.

Wendy's weekly health column in The Californian challenged her readers to think beyond mainstream allopathic medicine
and consider alternative approaches to health and wellness. Her knowledge of bodywork and vegetarianism, and her awareness
of the axiom "What we do to the environment we ultimately do to ourselves," was at the heart of her columns. Wendy used
simple, every-day subjects to relay a powerful message about regaining control over our own physical and mental health --
an especially important message in these trying times when it is more profitable for our hospitals to keep us sick than it
is to make us well.
Jennifer Adrian, former community editor, Californian newspaper
Wildomar, CA
As an emergency room nurse I often treat patients with migraine headaches or chest pains. A woman who
came in with chest pains was concerned she was having a heart attack. As I listened to her, and used some
gentle Therapeutic Touch, she began to cry and told me she had just lost a loved one. Soon after, her
chest pain was gone.
The benefit I get from my massage sessions with Wendy, besides relieving achey muscles (especially tight shoulders),
is being able to re-group. I tend to take life too seriously and during a session something shifts and I leave realizing
I can lighten up.
I would love to see our medical system more integrated. What is considered alternative is actually traditional,
even ancient, and should be part of standard practice. I think massage should be offered in every area of every hospital
and medical office.
Teresa Gardner, RN, Temecula, CA
I have been a massage client of Wendy Hammarstrom's for more than 2 years now. I was somewhat hesitant about
starting because I had been told by my doctor that I had ostopenia, a forerunner of osteoporosis, and I thought perhaps the
massage would be too strenuous for me. Wendy has provided the perfect massage experience for me, never making the massage
too "deep" but working gently to relieve tension and occasional muscle soreness. I sometimes arrive thinking I am not
stressed out and only discover sore areas in the course of the massage, which are then relieved. I always leave feeling
relaxed and in much better tune with my body. I can heartily recommend Wendy Hammarstrom's massage as a wonderful therapy
for anyone who is stressed or tense or whose muscles are sore.
I have also had several "restorative yoga" classes with
Wendy. This is a very gentle form of yoga which uses gravity to help one stretch and poses which relax and energize.
I find that I feel revitalized after the yoga sessions and my posture is better. I can highly recommend these yoga classes.
