Latin Dance Mix 7:30 - 8:30 pm
Because Salsa is not the only Latin dance in town, this course focuses on the colorful array
of Latin dances - Rumba, Cha Cha, and Samba - which lie outside the realm of basic Salsa dancing and can round out your Latin
dance experience. Each session concentrates on a single new dance. Learn basic elements, technique and styling while dancing
to a variety of Latin music. Beginners and experienced Latin dancers alike will benefit.
West Coast Swing 8:30 - 9:30 pm
WC Swing is a stylish, sophisticated form of Swing which involves
many intricate variations, syncopations and jazzy movements. Unlike other Swing forms, which are basically danced in a circle,
WCS is danced in a slot. Each partner dances specific footwork, allowing
a lot of room for styling & individual expression. This dance is a lot of fun but is more complicated than East Coast.
We recommend this series of courses for dancers with some previous partner dance experience.
