One or Two Hummingbirds
I'm seeing one or two hummingbirds everyday. Not a lot of action and not all day but the little time that I've had to look,
I've been seeing them.
I've got lots of work to do to get the yard ready for this winter. I just can't seem to find
the time to do it or to be able to survive the heat when do I find the time.
I'm keeping my eye out for for a Rufous.
The returning female the past 4 years showed up during the second week of August.
I've been spending a lot of time
getting my floridahummingbirds.net pages going so I'm not finding much time for this page. I'll try to keep up with this blog
for the important events but visit my floridahummingbirds forum regularly to find out what's happening in my yard as well
as yards throughout the state.

First Hummer of the Season
I saw my first hummer of the summer/fall season. It was a young bird, most likely post-breeding dispersal from a
local brood. True migration begins when we start seeing adult males.
