Eva E Wilkins
Eva has been a retail therapist most of her adult life. A graduate of the Bassist Institute in Portland, she has worked in several major department stores in everything from fine jewelry and cosmetics to men's clothing.

Currently she operates Eva's Embellishments from her home, creating wonderful circlets and bracelets from beads and wire, and a line of beaded cabachons she crafts from molded polymer clay.  She spends many hours shopping for wonderful ethnic clothing from around the world to vend at the events we attend throughout the year.  I like to tell people that she shops well so that they can!

David N. Wilkins

David began playing recorder in elementary school.  He started his band career in Jr. High school, beginning on his grandfather’s cornet, but soon switching to trombone, and finally to bass trombone.  He attended the University of Nevada at Las Vegas for two years, majoring in music.

In 1977 he enlisted in the Navy as a musician, performing on bass trombone, tuba, and euphonium. His duty stations included Charleston, South Carolina, Pearl Harbor, San Francisco, and the Recruit Training Center in San Diego, California. He is a graduate of all three courses of the Armed Forces School of Music, with top honors for the last two. Classes in arranging soon led him to start composing.  He attained the rank of Chief Musician, and was an assistant Band Leader and conductor his final two tours. Upon retirement in 1997 he moved to Oregon, first to McMinnville, and currently resides in Hillsboro with his third wife Eva.

David started playing with the Linfield band after he moved to McMinnville.  Soon after he was asked to join the Linfield Chamber Orchestra as the bass trombonist. In 1999 he began taking classes full time, graduating in 2001 with a B.A. in music composition.

David was introduced to the Society for Creative Anachronism while stationed in Charleston, rekindling his relationship with the recorder.  In the SCA he is known as Lord Dorian Longwind of Neumes, a minor musician of note, performing on recorders of all sizes, krumhorns, 'sackbut', and lots of percussion, including doumbek, frame drums and assorted toys..
